When I type in something in yahoo search engine, the next time I type something similar, it comes as a previous search below or when the box is empty and I press the down arrow the previous searches appear. A. When you press on the down arrow (Yahoo search box) it will drop down a menu. On the right is the On/Off option, click off. It is known as Search Suggestion. You can always turn it back on when your done.

Can a search engine spider read a page that is protected against being copied?
Q. I have a few articles posted that I disabled the copy command on. The page can still be saved by a visitor, and the source viewed, but they can't highlight the text to copy it. I'm wondering however, if the search engine robots can access that text or not. I'm thinking they might not be able to and am hoping someone who has more web knowledge than I do can answer it. I couldn't find anything on the web about it.

Q. I read an article this week and then heard mention of something on the news as well. One of the most popular search engines has been criticized for censoring and not giving people certain answers, particularly when it comes to political questions and things of that nature. Note that I put this in politics and the accusations were with regard to political searches.

A. Sweetie, the censoring has been happening for a while. When I really got involved in this forum during the 2008 elections, I would find an incriminating article or video about His Majesty, bookmark it, and it would be gone in a matter of days, if not hours. My answers have been deleted with regards to Internet Czar, nothing outside of the Terms... I don't know if it's any particular search engines, although granted Google is literally in bed with the current administration, and they probably all have a vested interest ($$$) in "net neutrality." Disgusting. But what I noticed were actual newspaper articles, from the Chicago Trib, for example, that went missing.

A. Hiya, I had that problem previously, because I had some affiliate sites that were costing me a fortune on Google Adwords, but not ranking highly on Google Organic Search. Until I happened across this Internet Gurus website, Mark Ling ( ) detailing his tricks for getting massive organic traffic, which is free. I tried it, and all my sites have never looked back since. I just now only run Google Adwords for new products. It might work for you too.

In Firefox go to tools, then options, if the general tab is open then where it says home page you should be able to type in the web address of the page you want to appear as your home page in Firefox. As you have said that you want yahoo as your home page you can delete the text that is in the box and paste either of these in to it and click OK when your done. Yahoo home page address: yahoo.com Yahoo search page address: search.yahoo.com You may need to restart Firefox before the changes take place. Don't forget to click OK when your done.

A. you need to erase both the cache and the history. sometime the browser has an option to reset as well (like safari). both should be under preferences, but it depends on the browser. just be glad its just basketball and not ... well...something else maybe more embarrassing.
